This morning, William continues from Ezra on the rebuilding of the city and why it is important to have our foundations right. Sometimes when cracks appear in our lives, it's a symptom of something a lot deeper that God can help us heal from. Click below to listen. 

This morning, William continues on from last week's story in looking at the restoration of Jerusalem, highlighting that the nature of God is always to restore us, to an even greater level than we ever were before.

This morning, Lynn Green, the General Secretary of the Baptist Union, speaks to us from Luke 5: 1-11. She talks about us learning from and about Jesus to shape who we are; being obedient to go into deep water and not stay in the shallows; experience fruitfulness when we are obedient and; using teamwork to deal with the catch that Jesus wants to bring in. This morning, William speaks from 2 Kings 20 about Hezekiah becoming ill and being told he is going to die. Hezekiah turns his face to the wall and prays, God grants him another 15 years, along with peace and blessing.  He encourages us that there will be times in our lives where we face a wall but God is beyond that wall. This morning, William speaks about Hezekiah and the siege of Jerusalem. He talks about the tactics of fear that the devil and dark powers use against us and how Hezekiah responded by prayer, consultations with others and ultimately relying on the timing of God. Click below to listen. 

This morning, William ends Mark with chapter 16. He talks about how Mary Magdalene was chosen to be the first witness of the resurrection, even though women back then were viewed as unworthy witnesses.
